xx. She walked through her house in her favorite dress, a short gold one that hardly covered her ass and her favorite gold shoes that matched them. Almost everyone wanted to see her in them and only the few that came to these parties ever did. Her parents had given her permission to invite whomever she wanted and of course she took advantage of it. Seeing as they were going out to their own private recluse of three days, she was permitted to have a party with whomever she wanted. the list was endless and in reality, there was no list. It was anyone who wanted to show up, did.
xx. Dylan had set up the rule of come on your own or bring a date, but be expected to meet new people if you came alone. That was the theme of every party she had ever had and she usually followed it easily, meeting and dancing with whomever she came across just to get out her stress and make herself a little happier. All little kids, out of the house in ten! She called up the stairs to her little siblings. Her grandparents were driving up to New York for her parents anniversary and had agreed to watch them for her party tonight and she was going to use them.
xx. Dylan walked up the stairs, her heels clicking on the wooden floor as she poked her head into each of her siblings rooms and helped them with whatever they needed done before moving to the next. By the time she came to Kelly she had a smile on her face and was helping her get her pajamas packed up as well as a set off clothes for the next day. Then she lifted her and kissed her forehead. This was her daughter, although everyone knew of her to be her little sister. Dylan's family had moved before she had been a new mom and again after she gave birth to this little bundle of joy. She had been given freedom in return for keeping in school and finishing college, which didn't sound like that bad of a thing because she got to have her daughter when she moved out and was in her own life.
xx. Dylan lifted up the bag over her shoulder and carried Kelly out on her hip as each of her siblings came out of their rooms. They all hugged her and ran down the stairs as Dylan followed behind, struggling with a few bags that the kids had left in the rush to get to their grandparents. The door-bell had just rung and she heard her grandpa's booming voice as he laughed and kissed them all before coming into the main room and calling for her.Dylan, where are you?
xx. They stood and talked as the younger kids ran around between them, playing tag and gathering what attention they could before running out the door and Dylan laughed. She kissed her grandparents good-bye and helped them with the younger kid's bags. She stood in the door-way and waved good-bye to her younger siblings and grandparents before turning into the house again. She had a little time before guests would arrive and so busied herself with putting out the food her parents had catered for her party as well as blared the music. As the beat of the music thumped through the house Dylan smiled. Tonight was her night and it was her turn to have fun. This was for her and everyone else she knew that wanted to come and hang out at a party. Being the age they were, it was easy for a party to get started. It just took a place and invitations.
