Jay is of average height, and a slender, though muscular build. He seems slim, but in actuality is much stronger than he looks. Beneath he is all muscle, despite his lean form. His deep, green eyes are his crowning feature -- with a depth of intensity so great it's hard to look away. His dark hair is often messy, but it suits him -- his roguish personality especially.
As a wolf, Jay's form is a blue-black baron. Large and strong, he's a bit more menacing in his shifted form. When he shifts, though, his green eyes remain the same startling hue of green. His fur is short but slightly shaggy; with long, muscled legs and huge paws.

Jay is often reserved and silent among strangers. Though, in closer acquaintance, he's lively and sly, with a mischievous sense of humor. Loves sarcasm, and is a frequent user of that. He's actually a bit on the proud side, though he's easy to get along with after you get him to speak. Would rather be among shifters than humans any day -- and takes a keen interest in his shifter animal -- wolves.
Jay's sarcastic humor and quiet reserve make him desirable company, and his wit makes him quite charming -- alluring in his own slyly devilish way. Is quite wary of love and the sort, just because he's worried to loose anyone. Is endlessly loyal towards those he regards and quite lethal towards his enemies. Never breaks his word.
