------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ &&. Dylan walked along the streets of New York with a confident smile. She had her head held high and her shoulders squared as she walked. She had been this way all her life. She was dressed up, just like every other day. She was in a short red dress that started to flare at her waist and sit down to her thighs. She was in matching red heels too as well as a red purse slung over her shoulder. She had a smile glued on her face and a gold ring on her finger. Dylan seriously doubted that she had ever been happier. With Jon she didn't have to think about Jake, that and he was so far awa that the pain he put her through didn't even seem real. She had been the first he told about being a shifter and she had been harmed by his shifted form. Her back and sides were scared from the assault he had given her.
&&. But this was a different side of Dylan, the one that wanted to be friends with everyone and the one that wanted everyone to realize how happy she was. She felt like she could have stood on the top of a mountain and screamed for hours on end and still have the energy to run for miles afterward. She had suffered from this feeling once, but it had been wrong. She had never been so loved and actually felt like she could trust someone as much as she did now. Dylan raised her hands and played with her hair as she walked, elbows bent up along side her head. She pulled her hair through a pony tie and smiled at every passer by.
&&. Dylan was thinking about a lot of things, but the one that she had plastered to her mind seemed to be more of Kelly and Jon. She had been worried that Kelly wouldn’t like Jon or that Jon would have turned down the idea of Kelly being part of their family, but as far as she knew, Kelly liked Jon and Jon wanted to be apart of her life. Dylan felt like she couldn’t have gotten a better boyfriend or a better child and nearly skipped down the side-walk all ready from how happy she was. Her bright brown eyes directed upward and followed the sun as she walked, reflecting that beautiful sunlight that made her mood seem to get better and make her heart burst out of her chest from being so happy.
&&. But her thoughts turned back to Jake before long and the fear that she still held for him returned and swept through her body. She slowly sighed and wrapped her arms around herself to protect her from any gaze and hoped that it would work. Dylan still had nightmares about him. She still had fears that he would show up and hurt her out of no where. She still the fear that her life would never be the same and that he would ruin what she had with Jon and Kelly. Jon only knew of Jake, he didn’t know who he was or if he was here, which is exactly what Dylan knew. She had no idea he was here, but he was, and if she only knew she would have been gone a long time ago.

you heard that i was trouble , BUT YOU COULDN'T RESISTJ U S T T A K E A B I T E L E T M E S H A K E U P Y O U R W O R L D- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - He had stormed out of the apartment with only his wallet and his phone. The stupid bitch he had picked up had been whining and pouting and promising more sex if he let her stay. She wasn't understanding, he wasn't interested in her, he could pick up any random hooker. The girl was irrelevant. She damn well better be out of the apartment when he got back though, otherwise there would be hell to pay. It would be unlikely that she would leave without a fair few bruises.
An hour or so of walking and a fag had helped him to relax and unwind to a point where he could take in what was happening around him. He was glad to be back in New York, nowhere could quite compare to it. Everywhere else had been wonderful, but he was home now, where he belonged. Jake sighed slightly and pulled his phone out of his pocket, flicking through th contact list looking for someone who he could hang with. Jack was out of town with family, Sam had got in a knife fight and was in hospital and Leo was on holiday. Shit.
He didn't want to spend the next few hours alone, he waned someone who he could go and mess around with. Although it did seem unlikely there would be any of his mates on his contact list, not the ones he would get drunk with anyway. On the other hand he could look for an old flame to hook up with. A good shag would be fun right now, plus these girls knew not to cross him. As he had thought most of the list was devoted to girls he had slept with. Anna Billie-Joe Candy Chelsea Cherry Dylan Emma Eliza ... He looked back at the list, a frown creasing his handsome face. Dylan. He hadn't seen the tart in years. Damn she had been hot, the most gorgeous girl he could think of. Her only problem was her quick tongue, she didn't know when to shut the fuck up, he had been forced to slap her up a bit to teach her. Still, she had been a goddess in bed, what he wouldn't give to have her back.
He turned, heading toward Time Square, always a good place to see a few girls.
Soon he was a part of the crowd, winking at the girls who lined the streets. He could any of these girls and he knew it, whether they wanted to or not, they were weak compared to him. A flash of red caught his eye and he looked round, his eyes resting on a girl. She was fucking gorgeous, her dress short enough to keep him interested. Even from the back he could tell she was a stunner, those legs were something to drool over. Then she glanced round and his leer merged into a smirk
Well, speak of the devil. Dylan Mazani.
He wanted her and he wanted her now. Somehow he suspected she wouldn't be overly glad to see him, not that something as small of that would matter, he could overpower her. Jake sped up, pushing through the crowds till he was right behind her. One hand wrapped tightly around her waist, the other running up her thigh as he spun her around to face him. "Hey Dee, It's been a long time."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------- &&. She had been walking calmly, her phone in one hand and her gaze drifting back and forth between it and the sidewalk in front of her. She had become rather good at messaging her friends and walking and was holding three conversations up at once, one with Jonathan, one with Kiera, a girl she found that she had a rather soft spot for, and her younger brother, Josh, who was watching Kelly. She had paused enough to push her cell phone into her purse. But quickly returned with her steady pace as she stepped through the crowd carefully. She had a sweet smile on her face, one that hardly ever showed when she was alone. It was a sign that everything was at peace in her world and she could offer that smile to anyone. Well... almost anyone. The hand that slid around her waist and down her thigh had grabbed her attention, but it wasn't what they had done that had upset her so quickly, it was who it had been.
&&. Dylan's eyes snapped up to his face almost instantly and she nearly panicked, her voice almost completely leaving her when he spoke to her. Hey Dee, It's been a long time. She slammed her emotions out almost immediately and that smile that had once been there was now gone. Her eyes were narrowed and filled with anger and a small speck of fear. He wasn't supposed to be here. He wasn't supposed to be in New York. But the fear had left before she knew it and it was replaced with the cold fury that she almost always had for him lately. what the hell are you doing here? She had almost yelled it at him as loud as she possibly could. Sure, it had probably been a little over dramatic had been the night she was left him. Her brown eyes were cold and distant as she gripped his hand and pulled away as quickly as she could, putting as much space between them as she possibly could.
&&. Over her shoulder was her purse, and in that purse was her only way of help. She had known many people to pass by without a glance toward someone who needed help. Dylan knew that pissing him off wasn't the greatest idea, but she also knew that he probably wouldn't hit her out here when there were so many people around. He would--hopefully--realize that there were too many people around. But that had never stopped her before. and don't call me Dee. I hate that just as much as I did four years ago. She snapped and pulled her arms around herself carefully, her eyes watching him. She knew she could tell Jonathan anything and that if she needed help, he would probably be the one she would call. But she also knew that she had never went into explaining the situation with Jake. She pushed her hair back from her face and sighed softly.
&&. But leave it to her, running into her ex boyfriend, the only one that she probably feared more than death, and she was just as much of a hot head towards him as she was anyone else. The other thing she had almost instantly decided on was that she wouldn't tell Jon about this. Not if she could help it at least. If there were bruises then it would be an entirely different story and she doubted that she could get around them. But until then, she would get rid of him all on her own. i really don't need you here right now. i was perfectly happy. go find some other whore, you never seemed to have trouble with it. she said with a grimace on her face. She had known it was true, and so did he. she had liked the idea of a relationship with him before, but then she found out she was just one of his little sluts and ended it almost as quickly as it had started. Now sure, she knew that he hated girls that could fend for their own, and she figured that was the main reason why she did it now. Because she hoped that, unlike before, she would stay out of her life and stay as far away from her, Jon, and Kelly as physically possible.
