CHASS WOLFRICK The park was not too crowded during this time of day which Chass appreciated. She had the day off today from both school and work which was a miracle in itself. She had free time which was really hard to come by considering all the activities she was active in. If there was one thing Chass liked the most it was being active. She loved having all sorts of activities and tasks to do and complete, it was what fueled her. However, today was Chass's day. Everything was put on hold. It was free period. Free day. Whatever you wanna call it. So, Chass decided to spend some time at the Park with a football in hand.
Her hair was up in a ponytail and on top of that was a worn out baseball cap. She wore ripped pair of jeans and a tight tank top that showed off her cleavage nicely, not that that was her intention. There were a couple of lovers having picnics, a family out on a stroll, and a few older men throwing frisbee with their dogs but other then that the park was virtually open. "Well I'm sure someone is bound to show up soon," Chass muttered to herself as she trotted over to where she and the guys usually threw the football around. It was a nice open patch of grass where most people stayed away from since it was always taken over by the jocks or pumped up teenagers.
Chass glanced around one more time before she saw a familiar face from the Univserity. "Hey!" She yelled and waved the figure over. "You wanna throw the ball around?" Chass called out as soon as the person came closer.

Shaya RosenMy boy builds coffins for the Rich and the Poor Kings and Queens have all knocked on his door Beggars and liars, gypsies and thieves They all come to him cause he's so eager to please Shaya was not very keen on sulight. It was so bright and intrusive, trying to crawl into every corner and hurt her eyes. She was supposed to be revising now, but boredom had taken over and she had found herself ventuering out into the harsh light of the day. Her feet didn't make any sound against the lush green grass of the park, her toes loving the soft silky feel of the tiny stalks. That was right, she was barefoot, black pumps in one hand. Her dakr jeans brushed the edge of the gravelly path as she dleibratly walked next to it, on the edge of the security and solidity of the path. There wasn't many people out today, she noticed as she looked around, coming to terms with her surroundings in a single second as she gave a small twist. Most of the people who were out were families or dog walkers ro the sort of people who spent their lives exercising and training and running around and who had no time for make up or pretty hair colours. She wasn't overly keen on these people, they mostly assumed she was vain and irritating before they even met her. Not that she could do anything to change that. "You wanna throw the ball around?"She glanced vover at the girl, she looked like one of those people. Nevertheless she decided to give it a go. "Sure" She said, approaching the girl

CHASS WOLFRICK "Sure," Chass smiled as the girl approached her. Just by looking at her she knew she was not the typical girl someone would find throwing the football around. In fact, she looked quite the opposite. "Shaya, right?" Chass commented as the girl got closer. She grinned and eyed her black shoes, "Killer pumps, I have a pair of those in red," Chass added as she fllipped Shaya the football. Hope you can catch, she thought with amusement as she trotted a good distance away. Normally she would have been playing tackle football or just playing catch with the guys or even playing around with some of the little boys who came with their parents. The thing about little boys was they were always a bundle of energy and they never complained about getting hurt. Who wanted to be shown up by a girl anyways?
Chass did not know too much about Shaya, just trivial gossip that she tended to ignore. Judging from her appearance, however; Chass assumed that she liked makeup and hair quite a bit but there was an edge about her, which Chass liked. She always liked girls that were outside of the box. The social outcasts who were not into fake boobs and plastic smiles. Breifly, she wondered what Shaya's natural hair color really was. She doubted it was that red and if it was, who would ever want to dye it? Oh yes, Chass was beginning to like this girl already and she had hardly spoken a word to her.
"What are you studying at the University?" She called. They were a good distance apart but close enough that they were able to talk without straining their voices. Wonder if its fashion or modeling... Chass pondered as she raised her hands to get ready for Shaya when she decided to throw the ball. Maybe I should move in closer... Chass suddenly thought. Shaya really did not look like the type of girl who went around throwing footballs or any type of balls for that matter. The girl did not look to have too much athletic ability but hey, maybe she would surprise her. Hell, she could have a wicked arm for all Chass knew. Which just goes to show people should never judge a book by its cover.

Shaya RosenWe've got obsessions I want to erase every nasty thought that bugs me every day of every week We've got obsessions You never tell me what it is that makes you strong and what it is that makes you weak. She gave a nod when the girl said her name grinned happily as she commented on her shoes, a common theme to bond over, that and secretly enjoying sport, when it wasn't boring. Thanks. Every girl needs a pair of red shoes. She said with a smile as she caught the ball with ease, spinning it in her hands for a moment, getting a feel of the weight and size of the ball before she threw it. She looked up at th girl as she moved. She was certainly pretty, with her lovely brown hair and pale skin, she had a nice figure too, not to thin and kept in good shape. She pushed those thoughts away though, she should at least spend one day without thinking those thoughts about everyone she came into contact with. "What are you studying at the University?"Well that hadn't been the question she had been expecting, most didn't give a damn what the other people were studying. Classics, English Literature and an outside course in Art. You?She could have chosen American literature, but that would have felt like an insult to her home country, plus she preferred English literature anyway. Aiming for the girl she titled her head slightly, shifted her body weight backward and threw the ball. It sailed through the air and was coming down by the girl, something she was very, very glad for. She would hate to be embarrassed by a poor throw, Shayla didn't do embarrassment well.

CHASS WOLFRICK Thanks. Every girl needs a pair of red shoes. Chass laughed at that and nodded. "Amen, my sister. Amen!" The more time Chass spent with Shaya the more she got to liking her. There was not a single girl quite like her, at least that Chass knew about. She had even been able to catch the ball easily enough and she had also took care in handling it before she threw it. Impressive, Chass mused internally. Now let's see if you have an arm, shall we? A sly grin appeared on her face as Shaya shifted her weight and prepared to throw it.
Classics, English Literature and an outside course in Art. You? "Really?" Now Chass was generally interested. "I would have bet my pumps that you were into some sort of design, fashion, or modeling class. Anyways, I'm studying botany. Can't get enough of it," she joked and watched as Shaya let the football soar. Again, Shaya managed to impress her. It was not a perfect spiral but it was an overall good throw and Chass found herself pleased with it. Perhaps today was turning out to be a good day instead of the crappy, boring day she expected it. Thank God for surprises!
"Nice spiral, needs some work though," Chass commented as in easy grin spread across her pretty face. She caught the ball with ease and twirled it around in her hands. Gently she felt for the laces before she wound up and sent the ball soaring back toward Shaya. It was a perfect spiral and landed straight back into Shaya's hands, she would have to have extremely poor vision and coordination if she was unable to catch such a beautiful pass.

Shaya RosenI know exactly what I want and who I want to be I know exactly why I walk and talk like a machine I'm now becoming my own self-fulfilled prophecy
She grinned at the girl, unable to stop herself. This girl's happiness was infectious and she couldn't help but respond to it. It was surprising the cynic in her, people never made her happy, not like this anyway. Chass seemed genuine, not masked by the lack of care and fake interest that all the other girls seemed to display. She gave a slight laugh as Chass spoke, telling her about her studies. "I don't need anyone telling me how to dress or what looks good. Botany though? Sounds interesting, never really got into it much, I have swapped a lot of schools when I was younger, never settled down."She paused, as though about to continue, but didn't, instead she brought her hands up and caught the ball. Actually caught was the wrong word, the ball practically fell into her hands. She gave Chass an apologetic grin at her words. "My strength isn't really in my arms, My legs are the strongest part of me."She tried again, focusing on Chass and putting slightly more force behind the throw, twisting her arms slightly to get it to the intended target. It was an improvement she thought, not much, but better than before. "How did you get so good, you have such a great throwing technique."Not to mention how good looking she was.
